Hello,

my name is Luděk Ruffer, and I'm interested photography, more so old film cameras, and also computer programming.

Excuse on English pages: because my intention is to make content of this website available mainly in Czech language, not all menus for photography and programming will be available here, but here are only those whose content I have already translated (or will in future translate) into English language. Whoever is interested, can use the ones that are not here (for now) only in Czech language and download files from them also only in Czech language. I will not be placing here repair and operating manuals in English or German languages yet, because they are (mostly) available elsewhere on the internet.

Since I bought, among others, Praktisix and later Pentacon six cameras and I couldn't find a repair manual anywhere on the Internet, I decided to translate the Praktisix repair manual, which I bought on the Internet in paper form, into Czech and to make it available to anyone interested. Well, since I lacked on the Internet more manuals and various descriptions that would be useful, I decided to publish what I have in this area. It's freely downloadable here in the "PRAKTISIX / PENTACON SIX" menu and everything is (so far) in Czech.

I am also (for a long time now) engaged in computer programming, i.e. producing programs for Windows computers. I produce programs in various versions (as time has gone on and these versions have been released) of Microsoft Visual Studio and in the Visual Basic language, which is free in the simplest versions for home use, without payment. I have also programmed quite a few programs for Microsoft Excel, but there they are called macros.
In the section "PROGRAMS" I will also provide some of my programs for free download and use, for now it is e.g. a program for calculation of thermodynamic properties of water and steam according to IF 97 and IF95, these calculations are also known as so-called steam tables.

Everything offered here is free to download without any fees, but in any further publication of downloaded content or programs output, I only reserve the right for the person who publishes it to credit me as the author of the content published from here.

The use of anything downloaded from here is at your own risk (although the programs have been tested many times), I assume no responsibility for any damage caused by the use or inability to use anything downloaded from here. If you do not agree with this statement, do not use the files downloaded from here. Everyone is of course free to check and test everything before use and then decide whether or not to use it.

Note about use: most of the files offered here are in pdf format, and since I haven't found a way to display them here directly, it is done so that after clicking on the appropriate link, the file is downloaded and opened in another tab of the browser you are accessing this site with. The images of the first pages of the documents are just a sample and cannot be downloaded. It would probably not be good to display all the content of pdf files here, it could be overcrowded and I would probably want too much from providers of websites that are not paid for.

This website was created using Mozello in its unpaid version, as you can see from the banner below.
